Another Fieldoo trial is behind us, a group made of Fieldoo users from all over the world joined us in Austria where they did their best in training and in matches on the quest of proving themselves in front of the coaching staff various spectators from the Austrian football world.
Everyone, 14 players from 10 different countries and 3 staff members, arrived on Monday 13th in the afternoon. A quick meeting in the hotel was followed by the first training session in Austria with the emphasis on technical and tactical work to allow the staff to get to know the players they will be working with in the following days.
Tuesday started with breakfast and the first training session of the day and these two trainings of the trial so far were enough for one of the players, letf-back Félix Julián Bárez Pérez, to skip the afternoon training and join Austrian club Wolfsberger AC in a friendly match after impressing them in the two previous training sessions. While others started on their second training of the day, Félix played the whole 90 minutes for WAC where he showed enough to not only impress the team he was playing for but also other scouts in the stands.
On Wednesday the first transfer was completed at the Fieldoo trial in Austria, as afore-mentioned Félix signed a contract with the third division side ASV Annabichl from Klagenfurt.
This wasn’t the only event of the day as it was time for the first showing of the Fieldoo users in a friendly against ATSV Wolfsberg. We were joined by a group of ten players from the agency working closely with us in Austria to form a team which showed a lot of quality in a high tempo match that finished in a 2:2 draw. Both of our goals were scored in the second half by our Simon Sekulov.
First goal by Simon Sekulov after a grave mistake by the hosts’ keeper:

Thursday started with a morning training session and in the afternoon was time for another match when the opponents were the local FC Alpe Adria. The match was full of action and ended with a high scoring 3:3. The goalscorers from our group were the youngest at the trial Mustafa Mušija and again Simon Sekulov who had a great week. When everyone returned to the hotel it was time for individual meetings with staff and the organizing agent where they talked about their performance this week and discussed plans for the future.
Friday was the last day of our expedition in Austria. Everyone joined in for the last meeting to talk about their experience and it was time for goodbye. Players left for their home while the staff still did some evaluation work and already started planning for future projects for some of the players that they worked with through the week.
