Uroš Poljanec is a 23-year old goalkeeper from Slovenia who recently transferred to Mongolian champions Khoromkhon FC.
Uroš is a youth product of a well renowned side NK Maribor who featured in this season’s Champions League group stages and a former youth international. After stints in the Slovenian first and second divisions Uroš found himself without a club. He signed up on Fieldoo where he was noticed by an agent Bryan Lim, who was looking for a goalkeeper for the Mongolian champions. Uroš signed with his agency and became the first Slovenian who will play in the Mongolian top division. As Khoromkhon FC have won the league they will be part of 2016 AFC Cup qualifiers so Uroš may be playing in the most famous Asian football club competition very soon.
