Josep Maria Minguella and his team have chosen 2 winners of the Minguella Challenge. They are Jordi Pascual (Arg/Esp) and Denis Kramar (Svn)!
Among more than 5,000 players applied on the Challenge held on Fieldoo, football network of players and agents, Josep Maria Minguella and the rest of the team of the agency Business Fútbol España, had tough work ahead to choose the best candidates among a large amount of great players.
After making the final selection of 19 players, they decided to choose two (2) players, the winners of the Challenge, which will soon get a trial in Spanish La Liga and/or Segunda Division clubs and sign the contract with clubs and Business Fútbol España if they pass the trials (the clubs of the trials will be announced shortly). Who are Jordi Pascual and Denis Kramar? Let’s meet them in more detail.
Jordi Joan Pascual Quiroga is a 19-year-old Argentinian with a Spanish passport. He’s a powerful right-footed striker (187cm) with a great sense of the goal – he scored more goals than he played matches in the last seasons. He used to play in the Argentinean 2nd division (last club was Gimnasia y Esgrima de Jujuy), and, interesting, he spent time in the younger selections of Boca Juniors.
“Since I applied to the Challenge, I was checking the progress of competition on Fieldoo every day; how many days are missing to announce the semi-finalists, finalists… Winning the Challenge gives a lot of confidence and also generates expectations. I feel 100% physically and mentally ready ahead of trials with Spanish club(s),” were first impressions of Jordi.
Business Fútbol España’s analysis of Jordi Pascual:
TECHNICAL: Good shooting on target from any distance
PHYSICAL: Very interesting for potential progression in power.
TACTICS: Forward mobility, dynamism and sense of verticality.
CONCLUSION: Broad improvement after adaptation in European football.
Denis Kramar (22 years old) is a Slovenian defender (left/central defender or left full back) with quite some international experience. After playing for Mura (also played against Lazio in Liga Europa), he moved to the Polish 1st division (Widzew Lodz) and then to Cyprus (Paralimni). Denis is left-footed but can play in every position in defence; his versatility is one of his important advantages.
“The first impression is great, once you realize you have been selected among more than 5,000 players. This is the proof that I have worked hard and well in the past and that I am ready for the next step. I am looking forward to the day I will try to impress the club officials in the trial in Spain,” said Kramar.
Business Fútbol España’s analysis of Denis Kramar:
TECHNICAL: Simple but practical; great timing and technical header.
PHYSICAL: Very strong and forceful entries in contacts.
TACTICS: Tactical approach in each moment or play of the game.
CONCLUSION: Young, projection, adapted to European football.
We will absolutely follow Jordi’s and Denis’ trials with Spanish clubs, hopefully they make it well and sign a contract. Good luck!
By the way, Fieldoo is already preparing new challenges and trials with various partners for the next transfer windows, so as to provide as many footballers as possible to get an opportunity to show their value in the most exciting football leagues worldwide.
