The game between Croatia and Spain in the qualifications for the European Under-19 Championship, that will be played from 20th July to 1st August in Lithuania, was a thriller. The Croatian national team first led against Spain in the game that was deciding the winner of the group and the participant in the main tournament and then later conceived a goal in the 77th minute. The draw was not enough and so 19 years old Fieldoo user Šime Gržan will not play on the European Championship, but has a great talent that promises a great career in his future. Hopefully with the help of our football network for players and agents.

Describe yourself as footballer? How do you remember your beginnings? Why football at all?
I started to train football in Zadar football club when I was six years old, I actually went to the first training, right after the first day at the primary school. My first and dearest entertainment was the ball and for me no other sport could match football. From that day on football has been basically my life. I played in all selections of the football club Zadar and as a cadet I was transferred into the first team. My natural position is a winger, but I can play in other positions if it is necessary. I would say that my top attributes are speed and dribbling.

Are you a footballer and would like to connect with Šime Gržan?

You are playing for the Croatian national under-19 football team. Of what significance are the appearances for the national team for you and what player from the Croatian national team do you respect the most?
I have to say that playing for the national team is a dream of every footballer and sportsman. There is a special feeling when you run out on the pitch in the jersey of your national team and listen to anthem before the game starts. My deepest respect goes to Mario Mandžukić that is playing for Bayern München (Munich) as well; he and Luka Modrić from Real Madrid are the best players of the Croatian national team.
Did you ever count how many times you juggled the ball? What was your highest number?
I actually did this when I was younger, but it was quite some time ago and I cannot really remember any numbers.

Moving from the football to the internet … Why did you decide to join Fieldoo, the Football Career Network for players & agents? Who would you recommend it to?
Friends told me about Fieldoo and I got really interested in how does this marketplace for footballers and agents work. So that is why I decided to join. I would strongly recommend it to other players; because through Fieldoo you get new acquaintances and friendships that can definitely help you in the further development of your football career.

What are your predictions about your football career in a couple of years? In what club would you want to play and do you think that Fieldoo can help you achieve that?
In the future I would like to make a transfer to some internationally recognised club. I have to say that I’m a big fan of Manchester United and it is definitely my dream that I would play for such a big club one day. I would be more than thrilled to play in Italy, Spain or Germany as well and I am hoping that Fieldoo will help me achieve my goal.

Who would be your pick: Leo Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo? Why?
I have to choose Cristiano Ronaldo, because he is my football ideal and I admire his footballing skills and knowledge. I think that he is one of the best and the most complete, diverse players in the history of football.

Last question: do you remember the funniest thing that ever happened to you on a football field?
I have to say that one of the funniest things that happened to me was when I accidentally hit the ball towards the referee and it hit him in his crotch.
